Orders & Delivery

How long will my order take?

It depends on what you pick. Ready-to-ship pieces leave our Tiruppur studio in 2–3 working days. Made-to-order pieces are crafted just for you, so they take 7–12 working days to stitch and ship. The exact timeline is shown on every product page. Once dispatched, India delivery takes 4–7 working days; international takes 15–21 working days (plus customs, which is out of our hands).

How do I track my order?

The moment we ship, we'll WhatsApp you the tracking link. You can also check your order status anytime on hyara.in/account. Still lost? Message us on WhatsApp at +91 8778088599 with your order number and we'll find it.

What does shipping cost?

Within India: Free. Pan-India, all states, no minimum. International: Calculated at checkout based on destination and weight.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery?

Yes, on most products. A ₹99 advance is collected at order confirmation (this confirms you're real and helps cut down on cancelled deliveries — non-refundable if the parcel is refused). The balance is paid in cash when the parcel reaches you. A ₹49 or 2% handling fee applies to all COD orders. Going prepaid instead? You save 5% automatically at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. Shipping rates and timelines show at checkout based on your country. Duties and customs are the buyer's responsibility, so factor those in if you're outside India.

Sizing & Fit

How do I find my size?

Every product page has a Size Chart button with body measurements in inches (XXS through 4XL). Our size chart is based on body measurements, not garment measurements — so measure yourself and pick the size that matches.

What if my measurements are between two sizes?

Two great options. Size up — every HYARA piece comes with a 3-inch seam allowance, so we can let it out at the seams up to 3XL/4XL. Or ask for a custom fit — WhatsApp us your exact measurements before you order, and we'll stitch to your body, no extra charge on most products.

Can I customize the length, sleeve, or neckline?

Yes, often. Once you've placed your order, message us on WhatsApp with your customization request and order number, and we'll confirm what's possible. See the Customization Guide for the full list of what we can and can't change.

The default pant length is 38 inches — what if I'm shorter or taller?

38" works for most heights between 5'2" and 5'6". Below or above that, message us with your inseam after ordering and we'll adjust.

Made-to-Order

What does "made-to-order" actually mean?

It means we don't pre-stitch and pile up inventory. Once you place an order, your fabric is cut, your size is stitched, finished, and packed — for you. Less waste, better fit, sharper finishing. The trade-off is time: 7–12 working days versus same-day dispatch. Worth it, in our slightly biased opinion.

Where are HYARA pieces made?

In our own unit in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu — India's knitwear and garment capital. Our co-founder Keerthana oversees production personally. Every piece is touched by people we trust.

Where does your fabric come from?

Mangalagiri handloom cotton (our signature) is sourced directly from weaving families in Andhra Pradesh. Raw silk, tissue, mulmul, and cotton come from artisan partners in Surat, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. Slow, traceable, and we know who made what.

Returns, Exchanges & Replacements

Can I return my order?

Because every HYARA piece is stitched just for you, we don't accept general returns or exchanges. But — and this matters — if something is wrong from our side (wrong product, damaged item, stitching defect), we absolutely make it right.

What if there's a problem with my order?

Message us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the issue and your order number. We'll either replace the piece (if it's a defect or our error), or refund (last resort, only when replacement isn't possible). Can I change the size after delivery?

A size swap is possible if the issue is our stitching error against the measurements you gave us. If you ordered the wrong size yourself, we can sometimes alter — a small exchange fee applies. WhatsApp us with photos and we'll work it out.

When will I get my refund (if applicable)?

Refunds are last-resort and only when a replacement isn't possible. When approved, a 2.5% payment gateway charge is deducted (the bank's cut), and the balance is refunded to your original payment source within 5–7 working days.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Debit/Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), Net Banking, Wallets, Cash on Delivery (with the ₹99 advance), and EMI on cards above a certain ticket size (visible at checkout).

Are there any discount codes I can use?

5% off when you pay prepaid (vs COD) — applied automatically at checkout, no code needed. We also run occasional sale events and Instagram-exclusive codes — follow @hyara.in to catch them.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. We use Razorpay Magic Checkout, which is PCI-DSS certified. We never see or store your card details — they go directly to the bank.

Product & Care

How do I care for HYARA pieces?

Each product page has a Wash Care section, but the short version for Mangalagiri cotton: First wash in cold water, separately (natural dyes bleed a little the first time — normal, not a defect). Regular care: gentle machine wash on cold or hand wash, mild detergent, avoid bleach. Drying: in shade, inside out. Ironing: medium heat with steam.

The color in real life looks slightly different from the photo. Why?

Two reasons. Every screen shows colors differently, and handloom dyes have natural variation batch-to-batch — that's part of their character, not a flaw. We photograph in natural light wherever possible and use minimal editing.

Do all your dresses have pockets?

Most of our suit sets and many kurtis do — we mention it explicitly in the product description. If pockets are a deal-breaker, check the description before adding to cart.

Are your pieces fully lined?

Our Mangalagiri suit sets and most premium pieces come with full lining for opacity and a softer feel. The product page will say so. Lighter casual pieces (some short kurtis, lounge) are unlined for breathability.

Brand & Story

What does "HYARA" mean?

HY = High Quality, High Standards. ARA = a divine sound in Hindu tradition (like "Om"). Together: standards held with reverence.

Who started HYARA?

Shyam Sundar (founder) and Keerthana SV (creative head & co-founder, the heart of the design floor). They started HYARA in 2025 with one belief: ethnic wear should feel like you, not like the average size chart.
