Your dress, your way.
Every HYARA piece is stitched after you order it — which means we can stitch it for you, not for an average. Here's what we can do, what we can't, and how to ask.

How to ask for customization
Step 1 — Pick your piece on hyara.in. Choose the product, size, and Set Type. Add to cart and check out as usual.
Step 2 — Message us on WhatsApp within 1 hour of placing your order. WhatsApp +91 8778088599 with your order number (starts with HY), the customization you'd like, and your measurements if it's a custom-fit ask. The 1-hour window matters because once cutting starts, we can't pause it.
Step 3 — We confirm what's possible. Our team replies within a few hours (10am–7pm IST, Mon–Sat): yes and any extra charge, a small tweak we'll suggest, or an honest no with alternatives.
Step 4 — We stitch it your way and ship. Customization adds 1–3 days to the standard 7–12 working day timeline. We'll WhatsApp you the dispatch date.
Customization in detail
Size & Fit
Standard sizes: XXS through 4XL. The size chart on every product page shows body measurements in inches. If you're between sizes, message us and we'll guide you.
Custom body measurements: If your measurements don't match a standard size, share them with us — bust, waist, hip, shoulder, top length, sleeve length; for pants: waist, hip, inseam.
Beyond 3XL: We can stitch up to 4XL and slightly beyond. Beyond 4XL needs a fabric check first.
Seam allowance: Every HYARA piece has a 3-inch seam allowance built in, so a local tailor can let it out up to 3 inches later — your fit can evolve.
Length
Top length: Tell us how long you want it. We can shorten or extend by up to 2 inches without changing the design.
Pant length: Standard is 38 inches. For 5'2" or shorter, try 36"; for 5'7" or taller, try 40"; or share your inseam and we'll match exactly.
Dupatta length: Mostly fixed by design, but message us if you have a strong preference.
Sleeves
We can adjust most sleeves — sleeveless, cap, short, 3/4, full — and styles like plain straight, bell, puff (where fabric allows), and bishop. We can't change sleeves with fixed embellishment (mirror work, embroidered borders) or the structural corset-back sleeves.
Neckline
Within design limits we can swap V-neck, U-neck, round, boat, or collared, and add or remove a small placket. We can't change printed-yoke necklines, necklines with attached zari or embroidery, or the corset-back necklines (the back is the design feature).
Lining
Most Mangalagiri suit sets come fully lined. If a piece you love isn't lined and you'd like it to be, ask — we can add inner lining on most styles at no extra charge.
Pockets
Pockets are one of life's great pleasures. Most suit sets and Co-Ord sets have them — check the product description. If your dream piece doesn't, we can often add side pockets for a small handling charge.
Colour
This is where we say sorry: we can't change a piece's colour. Every fabric is woven or dyed in advance, often by handloom artisans. Tonal variation between batches is normal — that's authenticity, not error. If you love a design in a colour we don't carry, message us; we may have it elsewhere or in an upcoming drop.
Other things people ask
Can you add embroidery to a plain piece? No — adding heavy embroidery is a separate craft.
Can you make it ready-to-wear vs unstitched? Yes! For most unstitched fabric sets we can also stitch them — message us before ordering and we'll add the stitching charge separately.
Can you stitch from a fabric I provide? Not currently — we only work with fabric we've sourced ourselves, so we can guarantee quality and finishing.
Customization charges (when applicable)
Most basic customizations — size adjustments, length tweaks, sleeve swaps, neckline adjustments within the same design family — are free. Charges apply for: plus-size beyond standard 4XL (₹200–500), adding pockets where none exist (₹150), adding lining to lighter pieces (₹200–400), stitching an unstitched fabric piece (₹400–800), and major restyling (quoted case by case). We'll always quote the exact charge before starting work. No surprises.
What's NOT customization (just regular order behaviour)
To save you a message: the default pant length is 38 inches (standard, no need to ask), all suit sets ship with the Set Type you selected at checkout, and all Mangalagiri suit sets have the 3" seam allowance built in.
