About HYARA

Made for your story.

HYARA began with a small, slightly stubborn belief: ethnic wear should fit you — your body, your mood, your moment — not an average pulled off a size chart. So we don't pre-stitch and pile up stock. We make each piece after you order it. For you.

How we started

HYARA was founded in 2025 under SHYAVIK Apparels LLP by Shyam Sundar and Keerthana S V — partners in work and life. Keerthana, our creative head, is the heart of the design floor: she sketches, sources, drapes, and obsesses over every seam. Shyam runs the engine behind it all. The name SHYAVIK carries our family in it, and HYARA carries our promise.

What "made-to-order" really means

It's the quiet idea behind everything we do. When you place an order, your fabric is cut, your size is stitched, finished, and packed — start to finish, for one person. That takes 7–12 working days, and we think it's worth every one of them. It means less waste, a sharper fit, and a piece that was never sitting in a warehouse hoping someone would want it. Slow fashion, made on purpose.

Every piece also carries a 3-inch seam allowance, so your fit can evolve with you over the years. That's not an accident — it's respect for the fact that bodies change and good clothes should keep up.

The craft

Our signature is Mangalagiri handloom cotton, sourced directly from weaving families in Andhra Pradesh — a fabric with a soul, woven on looms that have been humming for generations. We stitch it (and our raw silk, tissue, and mulmul from artisan partners in Surat, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad) in our own unit in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India's garment capital. Traceable, small-batch, and touched by people we know by name.

What we stand for

Five things guide every decision, from the weave to the way we pack your parcel:

  • Elegance — pieces that feel considered, never loud for the sake of it.
  • Craftsmanship — handloom roots, real finishing, no shortcuts.
  • Sustainability — made-to-order means less waste, by design.
  • Tradition & modernity — rooted in Indian craft, cut for the woman of today.
  • Customer delight — we'd rather fix a fit than process a return. Always.

The name

HY stands for High Quality and High Standards. ARA is a divine sound in Hindu tradition, like "Om." Put together, HYARA means standards held with a little reverence — which is about right for how we feel about a perfectly finished neckline.
